Associate Professor at the Laboratory of Behavioral Neurobiology at Rockefeller University who has led animal studies exploring metabolic and neural antecedents for the overconsumption of fat and alcohol. Her research has investigated the mechanisms and brain areas that may underlie food cravings and possibly contribute to eating disorders, such as binge eating and overeating, which commonly lead to obesity in children and adults.
